How do we make sense of the strangest economic decade we have lived through? We discuss the pandemic shutdown, inflation spikes, AI anxiety, online ordering, and more.
In 20 years the prevailing opinion will likely be that AI has impacted the economy more than the Covid pandemic. There are people in their mid 20s right now that didn’t know a pre pandemic workforce. AI will continue to impact those workers, and older workers, as well. In 20 years those people will be in the highly sought after 40-50 year old demographic. I believe they’ll vote for AI being a larger impact for them than the pandemic. In the larger economy, the pandemic has impacted the housing market in ways that are just now, maybe, starting to stabilize.
